MEMBERSHIP

Membership in the CSS is open to all collectors of China and related areas.  Membership benefits include:
  • The China Clipper magazine (six issues per year)
  • Buying and selling privileges in the Online Stamp Sales area on the website
  • Discounts on books, publications on DVDs and other items sold by the CSS
  • Discounts on expertization and identification services
  • Borrowing privileges from the CSS's library of reference materials on Chinese philately
  • A free translation service for postal markings and other philatelic items
  • Eligibility for scholarships for young collectors
  • Meetings at the National Convention, regional and local shows
  • Local area chapters

DUES

Dues for members living in North America are $21 per year; dues for members living elsewhere are $27 because of the higher costs to airmail the China Clipper magazine. All memberships include a subscription to the China Clipper. Memberships are not cancellable.

The membership period begins on October 1st of each year and first-year dues are based upon when you join and run for varying numbers of months (and numbers of issues of the magazine) so the renewal will be on an October 1st.
