INSURANCE Insurance is available (optional) on purchases between $1 and $499, at $1.75-$6.70 in US and $10.60 overseas. All items are shipped from Kansas City, MO, USA. BID INCREMENTS: $ 0.01 to $ 99.99 $ 1 $ 100 to $ 499.99 $ 10 $ 500 to $999.99 $ 50 $ 1,000 and up $ 100 All nonconforming bids will be rounded down to the proper bid increment. All lots will be sold to the highest bidder at one increment over the second highest bid. Only members in good standing may bid. There are no hidden reserves. Each item has an opening bid amount. All bids are in US Dollars and all payments must be in US funds. You should bid the maximum amount you are willing to pay. During the auction your bid will be automatically increased to maintain your position as the high bidder, but only up to the maximum amount that you bid. All bids and increases are in ‘bid increments.’ Tie bids will go to the earliest bidder. There are no ‘buy’ or ‘top all bids.’ Also there are no ‘or’ bids, combined lot bids, or conditional bids. Bids must be placed using this bid form. You can receive an extension on a lot for time for expertization. You can purchase a CSS expertization certificate on most all lots sold in this auction. You will be charged a buyer’s premium of 5% of the total of your winning lots. Bids may not be retracted. At the close of the auction you will be emailed a notice for each lots on which you are the top bidder. This could take up to 30 minutes, so be patient. The email will contain a link back to the Member Only page of the web site. When you enter the Member Only area you will find a link to your invoice. You can pay your invoice with PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, cash, check or money order. Bidders not known to us must email three philatelic trade references such as dealers or auction houses. We must receive payment prior to shipping the lots. Title does not pass until payment has been received. Purchases of $500 or more will be shipped registered and insured. You should consider buying insurance on purchases of less than $500 because the risk of loss is on you. Insurance is available to you as an option. If incorrectly described, a lot (other than a large lot or collection) may be returned within two weeks of receipt. The lot must be returned intact and in the condition received. Only members in good standing may sell in our auctions. Sellers are charged a commission of 15% of the selling price. Payment is due within seven (7) days of the close of the auction. Bidders that do not pay for their lots will be dropped from membership in the CSS and the lots re-offered to the second highest bidder. Bids are only accepted on the web site using this bid page. We will not accept mail, email, fax, telephone or other forms of bids. Please see 'Abbreviations and Catalogs used.'
