Many MLOs are very rare or non-existent on cover. One of the more common is the 50c of the Manchukuo 4th regular issue, with 6 character Tieling overprint, Kerr 229-34.
Here is a pair on cover paying the $1 normal letter rate from Tieh-Ling to Harbin with a 26 2 35 (1946) cds:
