Dues are payable by Sept. 30 of each year, in cash, check (drawn upon a US bank), money order, by PayPal, or credit card (only on this web site). The membership period begins on October 1st of each year and first-year dues are based upon when you join and run for varying numbers of months (and numbers of issues of the magazine) so the renewal will be on an October 1st. The magazine is sent airmail to overseas members.
