The China Clipper is the bi-monthly magazine of the China Stamp Society. It has been published continuously since 1936 and features articles of interest to collectors of all areas of Chinese philately.  Also covered are upcoming events and other news about the Society, chapter activities, updates on the library, important announcements, new issue listings, and many other things of interest.  Issues average 40 pages.

The China Clipper Best Article Awards are $250 for 1st place, $175 for 2nd place, and $100 for 3rd place.
First place for Volume 84 (Nov. 2019 to Sept. 2020 issue) went to, “The Communist Post in Southwestern Shandong Province During 1946,” by Hugh Lawrence and Richard Cates, Volume 84, No. 6, Sept. 2020.
Second place went to, “The Empress Dowager,” by Dennis Murphy, Volume 84, Nos. 3 and 4, March and May 2020.
Third place went to, “Tsinghai Anti-Bandits Stamps and Covers,” by Jia Jer Lieu, Volume 84, No. 2, Jan. 2020.

The first 80 years of The China Clipper, Volumes 1-80 (1936 to 2016), are for sale in a set of DVDs.  The set contains many thousands of pages and a wealth of information on all aspects of Chinese philately.
