Kerr 131 / wrong town

I'm really wondering, why nobody ever noticed, Kerr 131 was issued in Longzhen (龍鎮) under the jurisdiction of Bei’an (北安) and not Longjing (龍井)? Both towns have a distance of more than 1.000 km. Re: Are those chinese stamps?

Additional Charge Labels, not official stamps. They have some values and many people collect them.

Re: 2 cent 1898 brown

This stamp is destroyed because it was stored in a wrong kind of stamp album.

You can read here more about it:

Re: China 1949 UPU stamp

HI David,

these are two genuine overprints (type a and type b).

This is how a fake overprint looks like (just one example of hundreds):

Re: China 1949 UPU stamp

HI Dave, in my posting from Fri Sep 14, 2018 5:33 am I show both types of the overprint. For the NW94 only two types of overprints existing.

If you are able to post here a better scan I can tell you for your unoverprinted stamp if it is genuine or not.

Re: China 1949 UPU stamp

Thanks! I can't see anything clear here because the scan is too small, but there is a very high chance is a genuine stamp!

Re: China 1949 UPU stamp

Can you show me a good scan of your unoverprinted stamp?

For the CSS fees I think you can check here:

Re: China 1949 UPU stamp

The stamp at Kelleher has a strange white paper impression and some surface scratches, please be careful it's not a forgery (removed overprint), better ask for a certificate of authenticity from the CSS to be safe.
