Re: Peonies

Archiem, once the real number comes out the price for this MS8 will drop dramatically, so we can assume this will not happen so soon, by my feeling I think 200+K is a realistic number. But we also need to assume, that 99% of the sold MS8 don't have an expert opinion and we know how perfect new forge...

Re: Forgeries Liberated Area (LA)

Mostly they getting sold because the buyers don't understand and notice the fakes. :? Here some impressions of my private "collection" for around one month (most fakes a...

Re: Greetings from Princeton NJ!

HI Wilbur, honestly I have no idea and no serious judgement can't be made on blurry photos. But possibly ok, as there are tonings on the stamps (but for this the selling price was too high). Re: New Member

Most Chinese stamp societies have their own online shop where you can buy stamps. EBay and auctions are not really save for beginners to purchase stamps, better always let everything expertize by experts, here I can suggest you the CSS ifself or the BPP (www.bpp.de) For Liberated Area of China (fore...

Re: Current fakes on ebay

Fakes are everywhere on eBay and everybody is happy to buy them for low price because geniune stamps are usually very expensive. Here another example for USD 750.- (!) from "kennystamp" located Arcadia, California, United States: https://www.ebay.com/itm/CHINA-Liberation-1950-Sc-8L52-54-Unit-Issue-S...
